A scheduling module
Ad hoc reporting tools
Many advanced features
Such as branching logic, file uploading, and calculated fields.
A quick and easy software installation process
So that you can get REDCap running and fully functional in a matter of minutes.
REDCap can be installed in a variety of environments for compliance with such standards as HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, FISMA (low, moderate, high), and international standards. Because *you* have direct and total control over your system, REDCap is fully personalized to meet your security policies and user needs.
Interoperability with health records
This is done through the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) web service inside of an EHR which can pull structured data into REDCap using OAuth2 authorization. To learn more visit the Clinical Data Interoperability Services (CDIS) page.
Available in multiple languages
Several language translations have already been compiled for REDCap (e.g. Chinese, French, German, Portuguese), and it is anticipated that other languages will be available in full versions of REDCap soon. If any REDCap consortium partner is able and willing to contribute a translation of REDCap into a new language, we are very much interested in acquiring your help.
