A resource for Consortium Partners

REDCapU offerings are webinars designed to provide REDCap Consortium members (REDCap administrators only) with in-depth guidance to all things REDCap. The goal of REDCapU is for REDCap Administrators to gain the tools to leverage REDCap to its fullest potential at their institution.

REDCapU attendee profile

REDCap consortium members who install, maintain, and support REDCap at their partner site. End users are not eligible to attend REDCapU. To be clear: this is for administrators only – NOT end users.

Requirement

You must be a REDCap administrator at an institution that has a signed REDCap license agreement.

Structure

  • Each webinar will be ~90 minutes in length and cover 1-3 topics
  • Webinars will be recorded and available for viewing on demand

Title:  Business Models and Governance

You will learn: REDCap can be supported via many different business models (e.g. fee-for-service, free to all users at the institution, only available to some users, etc.) REDCap can be supported using many different business models (e.g. fee-for-service, free to all users at the institution, only available to some users, etc.) In this session, you will learn about two different types of business models.

Presenters: Bas de Veer from University of Washington and Jeff Hawley from Duke University will discuss how they support REDCap at their institutions, including overall governance, necessary resources, institutional buy-in, and more.

Cost

There is no cost to the REDCap administrator or their institution.
